Fresh from the Hawaiian islands, but not from tropical beginnings, meet Roger! One of the newest artists to join the Seven Family. Growing up in Buffalo, Roger was raised in a family that was very science driven with his mother attending medical school, and a family of Doctors. Moving to Oahu at the age of 13, Roger didn’t plan on being a tattooer till later into life as didn’t even get his first tattoo till he was 25. Art was a passion that snowballed into something larger for him growing up. Keeping active with sports playing Lacrosse and hockey during middle school and later into high school. Shortly after graduating Roger started courses to become an EMT following his family into the medical/health industry. While living in Hawaii, his friend who was a local tattoo artist invited him out to an art show. This was when the love of tattoos started! Soon after he started the long process of an apprenticeship. Now, that didn’t come easily, he would paint and draw at the local shop daily till eventually they had room to bring him on the team, 3yrs later and Roger was signed off in 2017. Pushing his skills daily with a passion for Neo-traditional color work and Neo-Trad blackwork, We are thrilled to bring this talented artist with his creative and custom skills to all of you. Roger is excited to start his tattoo journey here in Las Vegas and see how living off the islands. He looks forward to traveling the world in the coming years and visiting interested clients all over the globe. Chances are if you catch Roger outside the studio he will be eating great food, or at a concert/festival, or listening to his favorite band Tame Impala.
