What to know before setting a tattoo appointment

When choosing a tattoo artist, you first need to figure out what elements or themes your tattoo will be or have. Why is this important? Because it's like going to a specialist.

After you have your tattoo idea, you want to look for an artist that has resembled that in previous tattoos. Don't go off of 1 post, really check out the work.

Local or international: You're artist might be in your own town or even in another country. So plan accordingly, reach out by email as most tattoo artist are not sitting around replying to emails all day. Be patience and be prepared. Send over your tattoo ideas, photos of placement, inform them of your ink preference. You want to include all of this on the first email so you are getting straight to the point.
