Tattoo Aftercare

Taking proper care of your tattoo in the first few weeks is essential to ensure optimal healing and long-term results. Unless otherwise directed by your artist, follow the steps below.

⚠️ Note: All tattoos carry some risk, including dizziness, allergic reactions, scarring, and infection. You may also experience mild itching or peeling during the healing process.

Days 1–7: Initial Healing Phase

  • Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

  • After 2 hours, remove the bandage and gently wash the tattoo using Inkeeze Tattoo Soap. Do not scrub.

  • Pat dry with a clean paper towel or let it air dry. (Avoid cloth towels, which may carry bacteria.)

  • Apply a small amount of Inkeeze Tattoo Ointment 3–5 times per day. Massage it in gently like lotion.

Days 8–14: Moisturizing & Protection

  • Switch to an unscented, fragrance-free lotion to keep the tattoo moisturized.

  • Continue applying lotion as needed to prevent dryness or flaking.

✅ DOs:

  • Avoid direct sun exposure until your tattoo is fully healed.

  • Once healed, always apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to preserve the tattoo.

  • Consult a doctor and contact Seven Tattoo Studio if you notice:

    • Excessive swelling or redness

    • Yellow or green discharge

    • Fever or chills

❌ DON’Ts:

  • Do not scratch, pick, or peel your tattoo—even if it itches.

  • Avoid peroxide, alcohol, or any harsh antiseptics.

  • Do not submerge the tattoo in pools, hot tubs, baths, or the ocean.

  • Avoid tight clothing that might rub against your tattoo during healing.
